When you visit Disneyland it is wise to know which items are prohibited at the parks.
Do not bring selfie sticks into the parks. When you take the tram from Mickey and Friends Parking Structure they will make announcements. There are also signs at the bag check booths on both sides of the esplanade. They are serious. These items have been banned in the parks since last year. But these are not the only items you can't bring into the parks. Security has also tightened up as there are now metal detectors in addition to the bag checks that have been in place for years. Obviously, weapons are banned, but there are also some things you might not think about. My sister-in-law was surprised to find out she couldn't bring her water bottle into the park - it was glass - and glass bottles are not allowed (except baby food jars) so she had to make a quick run back to the hotel as she didn't want to throw it out. Don't be caught out! Check out the link to see what items NOT to pack for your day in the parks.
