Cabanas is the buffet restaurant on the Disney Dream. It is located at the aft (rear) of Deck 11. Read on for pictures of the layout, food and seating. This review specifically covers breakfast at Cabanas on the Disney Dream.
Seating at Cabanas is broken into several smaller areas around the rear of the ship giving great views through the large windows. Most seating is at tables with some seating on bar stool height chairs at counters.
There is also outside seating at the very aft of the ship. This is a great spot to eat when in port (pictured here at Castaway Cay). Even when at sea it is a bit sheltered by the rest of the ship.
Hot items include all the standard items you would expect at an American breakfast buffet. Several kinds of eggs, bacon, sausage, turkey bacon, baked beans, beef, pancakes, and waffles. Mickey waffles of course.
Cold items include a large selection of donuts, pastries, croissants and bread rolls. There is a toasting section where you can choose from a variety of different breads and have them toasted for you.
Other cold food sections include a yogurt bar with lots of toppings, a wide variety of cut or whole fruit and a smoked fish and bagel station. There is a chilled case with cold cuts, cheese, and sliced cucumber and tomato for those who like savory breakfast choices.
Insider Tip: there are 4 different entrances to Cabanas, and 2 "sides". At busy times with both sides open you will find many repeats of popular items.
