By Jennifer Stuart We are often asked what is our favourite way to get from LAX to Disneyland. This post is for all of you who are looking to get to and from the airport but don't want to rent a car and mess with Los Angeles traffic. Read on to find out more. Full disclosure: We have not been paid for this review or the information that we provide. All opinions are our own . We just really like this service. When getting to Disneyland from LAX you have several options. You can take a shared-ride van, a private van, a private car, the Disneyland Express bus, car rental or a taxi. The pros and cons of all these are more fully explored in my How to get to Disneyland from LAX post. A great option we discovered a few years ago is Lansky private car service. On that trip we didn’t want to rent a car, our flight was getting in too late to take the Disneyland Express and we had been unhappy with our last private van experience. So, we were looking for a new option - and stumbled upon Lansky. Our experience with Lansky was so positive that we immediately booked them for our next trip and have been recommending them as our top choice to friends and family ever since. The booking process through their website is very smooth and we have never waited longer than a day for a fare quote. We had the option of paying with either credit card or PayPal. Link to their website here. The airport pick up was seamless. Our driver, holding our name on a sign, met us at the exit from the secure area. He quickly grabbed a luggage cart and led us to the baggage carousel. This in itself was so helpful as LAX can feel like a huge construction zone and it wasn’t immediately obvious how to find that area. Once we had our bags we walked across the street to the parking garage and straight to our SUV. The car was immaculately clean and we were quickly able to settle the kids in. (If you need car seats and are not bringing your own, make sure to ask at time of booking and specify the kind of seat you will need—note that they do not have infant seats). After a long flight it was heavenly to have someone else drive us through Los Angeles traffic to our hotel while we sat back with a cold bottle of water handed to us by our driver. One of the options that set Lansky apart from other car services is the ability to make a quick grocery stop. Make sure that you ask for this option while booking and your driver will be happy make a quick stop (up to 20 mins) at a grocery store so you can pick up a few essentials. The parks are expensive and being able to get a case of water, some fruit and milk makes a big difference. (Especially when travelling with children). Our return trips have been similarly smooth. Our drivers have consistently been not just on time but at least 15 minutes early to pick us up from the hotel. This is a big stress relief, as we always tend to worry about getting to the airport on time to clear security. The price is similar to a private van or taxi and worth it for the extra value in my opinion. Repeat customers receive a discount too! All this is why we will continue to recommend Lansky to both friends and family. Read our post on How to get to Disneyland from LAX for a run-down on all your options. Do you provide car seats for ages 4 and 6 at pick up and return?
