The Tiki Juice Bar is a counter service stand located in Adventureland next to the entrance to the Enchanted Tiki Room. The Tiki Juice Bar is home of the iconic Dole Whip.
This stand serves only two things and what it does do it does well, as evidenced by the long lines that build every sunny afternoon.
Insider tip: There are two lines for the stand one outside in Adventureland and one inside the waiting area for the Enchanted Tiki Room. The inside line is almost always shorter. Then enjoy your Dole whip or Dole float while watching the classic Enchanted Tiki Room show.
The waiting area is Hawaiian themed and is really a pre-show area rather than another queue. It is very green and lush and feels like a little oasis. It is wonderful to be able to take a little break sitting on the benches and enjoy one of the quieter spaces. Even though this is a small space the hustle and bustle of the park seems to recede.
The two items for sale here are both good. Which one you will prefer is going to depend on your personal tastes.
The tasty Dole Whip soft serve is a classic and delicious treat. This is our family’s number one choice for a snack at Disneyland (See our post on the Best Cool Treats at Disneyland for more cool treat ideas). It is a very light pineapple flavour and really refreshing. I used to be able to get away with splitting one with one of my kids when they were smaller but now everyone gets their own. $4.19 USD
Also available is the Dole Whip Float. This is the classic soft serve in a taller cup and topped off with pineapple juice. This is my sister-in law’s favourite. To me the juice is a bit too tart when combined with the soft serve. Also I find the pineapple taste more pronounced because of the added juice. $5.29 USD.
In short, we would highly recommend the Tiki Juice Bar to everyone who visits Disneyland.
