Tokyo Dining is a table service restaurant located inside the Japan Pavilion in EPCOT at Walt Disney World. Tokyo Dining serves traditional Japanese food including sushi. Read on for our review of the location, the atmosphere and of course lots of food pictures.
Tokyo Dining is located on the second floor of the Japan Pavilion. Check in is at a kiosk near the bottom of the stairs. When your table is ready you go upstairs to be met by a hostess.
There are several different seating areas. We were lucky enough to be seated near the windows which gave us a great elevated view towards the lagoon and Spaceship Earth. This was particularly beautiful as it got darker and Spaceship Earth was lit up.
Place settings are beautifully set with intricately folded napkins and chopsticks (don't worry they can help out with beginner chopsticks, sort of like tweezers, or forks as well).
The Food
Tempura Shrimp - crispy and delicious with a great dipping sauce.
The sashimi was beautifully presented and tasted really fresh. This Sashimi Sampler plate included Tuna, Salmon, and Yellowtail Sashimi.
Our thoughts
We enjoyed our meal at Tokyo Dining. The service was fantastic - one of the best experiences we had on this trip. The Sashimi and Calamari was a highlight and the rolls were good even though they didn't wow us.
