Disney Cruise Line Beer Mug -- Everything You Need to Know

 Find out everything you need to know about the Disney Cruise Line beer mug and how you can use it to save money on beer on your Disney Cruise.

I am not a really a beer drinker but my husband is, and we both like a good deal so we were very interested in finding out about the Disney Cruise Line beer mug deal when we went on our first Disney cruise. 

The deal:
For $16.95 you can buy a 22 oz. Disney Cruise Line, glass beer mug with the beer of your choice.

How it works:

• Purchase a Disney Cruise Line Beer mug at any of the bar locations.(such as Signals, Currents  or the Crown and Finn Pub)  Also on embarkation day you may see a crew member with a pop-up stand in prominent locations such as outside Cabanas.  
• When you are done your beer just give it back to the bartender and they will give you a beer mug token.  
• When you want another beer give your beer mug token to the bartender or waiter when you order your beer.
• They will bring you a new beer in a clean mug.  Remember this will be a 22oz beer for the price of 16oz!
• After you have enjoyed your final beer on the last night of your cruise change your dirty mug or your token for a new clean mug to take home as a souvenir of your cruise.

Insider Tip: Your Beer mug token is a cardboard card -- keep it safe. Putting it in your wallet or in your lanyard with your Key to the World Card are good choices.

Draft beer selection will vary slightly by location and by cruise.  Expect the usual Budweiser  products or Stella Artois but also some more specialty beers.  For instance on Alaskan cruises they have a small selection of beer from the Alaskan Brewing Company.
