The Royal Palace is one of the three main rotational dining rooms onboard the Disney Dream. Many people don't realize that it also offers the opportunity to have an upscale table service breakfast. Read on for more information, our review and photos of menu items.
Theme
The Royal Palace restaurant is classic Disney princes and princesses. It's generally ornate and there are several nooks that feature a specific princess, such as Cinderella or Snow White. You will also find pairs of prince and princess portraits --
The menu
The menu shown above is from our cruise on the Disney Dream and is shown for reference purposes only. We hope it gives you a general idea of the kinds of food that you can find for breakfast at the Royal Palace.
The food
I love a good french toast and this one was very good. A nice thick cut baguette turned into a perfectly cooked french toast. This one came with whipped butter and jam and when I asked for some maple syrup is came warm in a little jug. Pictured is with a double side of bacon.
If you like a little of everything this may be the breakfast for you. Nothing in this was outstanding but it was all reliably good.
This breakfast may not look outstanding but it was a delicious omelet and included some of that outstanding Disney Cruise service. My daughter's favorite omelet is a cheese, bacon and avocado (pictured above). It was not on the menu, however the very kind server and kitchen team made it happen for her.
As always check your personal navigator or the Disney Cruise Line app for information about what times Royal Court is open and serving breakfast. We highly recommend treating yourself to a sit down breakfast at Royal Palace at least once on your Disney Dream cruise.
