By Jennifer Stuart Pirate Night is one of the things that many people look forward to on their Disney Cruise. Part of Pirate Night is a themed Pirate Dinner. We have included everything that you need to know about your Pirate Night Dinner on your Disney Cruise. ,No matter which main rotational dining room you are scheduled to dine in on Pirate Night, you will still get to enjoy the Pirate Night menu. The same menu will be served in all three main restaurants. This is true for all Disney Cruises that have a Pirate Night. You will find that your servers are dressed in pirate outfits too, to lend some extra theming to the evening. The MenuThis is a sample menu from Pirate Night Dinner on the Disney Dream in February 2019. Consider this as reference only. We find that many items remain the same (or similar) year to year and ship to ship but of course there will likely be some differences. Bread ServiceAppetizersWe love soup as a starter and this was a really nice smooth and creamy carrot soup with cilantro. (the cilantro added a bit of flavour but was not overwhelming.) The crab cakes were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Definitely a hit. MainsThis was like a very tender roast beef dinner. The meat was tender with good flavour. The yorkshire pudding wasn't the style that I am used to and was definitely not as fluffy as I would hope for. The treasure of the seas pasta was the stand-out main if you enjoy seafood. It had a good amount of large shrimp and scallops in a tomato based sauce,. The jerk chicken was served with a small amount of fruit salsa and fried plantains. Dessert The fruit cobbler with vanilla ice-cream was predictably good. The rum soaked chocolate cake was fantastic. If you are OK with a touch of alcohol in your dessert --this is our recommendation for you. A rum cake is a very Caribbean-style dessert and feels perfect for Pirate Night. We hope you enjoy your dinner as part of a great Pirate Night at sea on your Disney Cruise. If you enjoyed this post, you may be interested in some of our other Disney Cruise Line posts.
