Disney Wonder Rotational Dining Explained
By Jennifer Stuart
Questions about rotational dining are common amongst first time Disney cruisers.  We will answer the most common questions as well as take a look at the three rotational dining rooms on the Disney Wonder.

What is rotational dining?

Rotational dining is fairly unique to Disney Cruise Line.  It means that you will have an opportunity to rotate through all three main dining rooms on the ship.  You will be assigned a rotation schedule when you check in and you can find this information on your Key to the World card.  You may want to read our post on How to Read Your Disney Cruise Line Key to the World Card for where to find this information and what else it can tell you. The advantage of rotational dining is that you get to experience all the dining rooms, while keeping the same serving team for the whole voyage as they rotate with you. We have always had excellent serving teams who got to know us quickly and went out of their way to make our meals a great experience.
There are three min rotational dining rooms on the Disney Wonder: Triton's, Animator's Palate and Tiana's Place.  We have included more information about each of these dining rooms below.

Triton's

Disney Wonder Rotational Dining Explained
Triton's is a restaurant themed after the Little Mermaid.  This feels the most elegant of the three main dining rooms.  Although the menus do change depending on the cruise destination, for example there will be more Alaskan inspired menu items on an Alaskan cruise itinerary.  The menus here are mostly french. For more information about Triton's on the Disney Wonder, including menus and lots of food pictures you can read our detailed post on Dining at Triton's.

Tiana's Place

Tiana's Place lets you feel like you have stepped into Tiana's restaurant in the Princess and the Frog.  The vibe is New Orleans and it is a lot of fun, especially on Mardi  Gras night. Highlights are the live band and of course meeting Tiana herself.  The menus are Cajun inspired food items. For more information about Tiana's Place on the Disney Wonder, including menus and lots of food pictures you can read our detailed post on Dining at Tiana's Place.

Animator's Palate

There is a version of the Animator's Palate on each Disney Cruise Line ship, and for good reason.  This restaurant is a fun celebration of Disney Animation. The food here is general western food and the atmosphere is lively.  There are two different nights depending on the length of your cruise. For more information about Animator's Palate on the Disney Wonder, including menus and lots of food pictures, you can read our detailed post on Dining at the Animator's Palate.
