Visiting the Cove Cafe on the Disney Wonder

The Cove Cafe is an adults only coffee bar on the Disney Wonder.  Find out everything you need to know about visiting the Cove Cafe;  what this adults only space looks like, food and beverage options available and tips for visiting.  Read on to find out more.

The Cove Cafe is located on the forward area of Deck 9 on the Disney Wonder.  It is located in the Quiet Cove, an adults only area (18+).  There are 3 areas of the Cove cafe over 2 levels.  The main coffee bar has stools for sitting at the bar, and small cafe tables with bar stools.  The outside area on this deck has padded wicker chairs facing the exterior of he ship with small side tables.  This deck has an enclosed glass wall so you are sheltered from the wind, but you still get great floor to ceiling views when outside.

The second level of the Cove Cafe is actually on Deck 10 and can be reached via a staircase inside the cafe or from a door on Deck 10.  The seating upstairs is comfy armchairs and loveseats.  The views are also great as they are only obstructed by the odd passerby on the outside deck. This is a great place to relax and watch the breathtaking scenery on the Wonder's Alaska cruises while staying warm.

The coffee served at the Cove Cafe is a noticeable upgrade for those of you who are coffee lovers.  There is also a wide variety of coffee options similar to those that you would find in your local coffee shop at home - but with a fun Disney twist - you can get them to dust a Mickey onto you cappuccino or latte.

If you enjoy your coffee you will want to ask for a coffee card.  Any 10 stamps will get you a free coffee.  You can even use it from one cruise to the next.

Is there an extra charge for the pastries?

Hi Erin

The drinks are a charge but the pastries are free. There is a selection that changes during the day and in the afternoon there is often savoury snacks. (meats and cheese and crackers) Hope that helps and don't hesitate to ask if you have any more questions.

I have seen a vlog where people ate a substantial breakfast in the Cove cafe. I am guessing they brought it from somewhere else? Is Cabanas nearby?
